Signals tracked for Playmaker Recruiting
The public records we read for Playmaker Recruiting, ordered by how close each sits to a college football staff setting up how it finds recruits. Every program on the Accounts tab came from one of these.
How we rank a record
Two questions decide it: how close is the record to the moment a staff sets up how it finds recruits, and is the program one Playmaker can sell to, a small-college football program with a full roster. A program's own release or roster beats a news story, and a news story beats a job board.
We leave out any program whose posting or recruiting questionnaire already names a recruiting platform, any athletic department under 100 student-athletes, and high school programs. Stillman and Shawnee State have no football roster yet.
A new program or a new level
The year before and the first seasonThe staff recruits a different player, usually with the intake it already had.
Football starts or returns
A college adds or revives football and has to recruit a whole roster from high school players.
